Investor takes over sustainability-focused real estate company Greenmetrix
Real estate investor Marko Kull was initially a client of Greenmetrix, a company focused on sustainability in the real estate sector, but has now acquired 80% of the company.
Greenmetrix is a company established this year that provides consultancy to the real estate sector on green certification and energy efficiency issues, with the aim of increasing the sustainability and market value of real estate. The founder and CEO of the company is Kairi Nõulik, who has many years of experience in real estate sustainability and energy efficiency projects. His vision for creating the company was to really help property owners and developers, not just fill out paperwork, which is all too common in this field.
The first project of the newly established company was to apply for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification for Marko Kull’s real estate – Ahtme Keskus in Ida-Virumaa. Enterprising investor Kull saw strengths in Greenmetrix that met market expectations in this sector and decided to contribute to the company’s development. The client became a partner who gives momentum to the development of the young company.
